About Flynn and Macey

Hi, you can call me Macey. 

 And this...er...this is Flynn

 

 Flynn was rescued about two months ago from the kill pen at the auction house. The kill pen is the place where horses that didn't get any bids during the auction go, and then slaughter houses buy them. However, if someone pays more than the auction house did, they can have the horse. He is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old, unbroke , underweight , and has worms. Of course were working on putting weight on him, he and his buddy free range 4 acres of tall grassy land. We are de-worming him and he has a good outlook.

 When he first came we couldn't even be near him. He ran away from us to the corner of the round-pen he was in at the time. Eventually, with the help of a friend , he let us pet him. Now, he is halter broke and comes up to people, lets us pet his face, pet his back, and even lets me spray him with 'show sheen' so he doesn't look quite so dingy ;).

 Follow us as we learn together, and you can be there every step of the way, from bonding with Flynn, to his first ride.
